Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SmoothScroll Prompter ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
Subscription Terms
SmoothScroll Prompter offers auto-renewable subscriptions to access premium features:
- Teleprompter Pro Monthly: $14.99/month
- Teleprompter Pro Yearly: $99.99/year
- Teleprompter Pro Lifetime: $149.99 one-time purchase
Subscription Renewal & Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Free Features
The free version of SmoothScroll Prompter includes:
- Up to 3 scripts
- Variable speed scrolling
- Mirror mode
- Countdown timer
- iCloud sync
- Basic customization
Premium Features
Subscribing to Teleprompter Pro unlocks:
- Unlimited scripts
- External display mode (HDMI/AirPlay)
- Import Word documents (DOCX)
- Import PDF files
- Export to PDF
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Rent, lease, or lend the App to third parties
- Copy, distribute, or modify the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Your Content
You retain all rights to the scripts and content you create in the App. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles.
